New bike finance deals from Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Suzuki

Importers giving market a bit of a sales shove halfway through the season

Aprilia RSV4 RF

NEWS REACHES Visordown Towers of a few new finance deals on new Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and Suzuki bikes.

The Italians have wheeled out the PCP and HP finance big guns, letting you get on an Aprilia RSV4, RS125, Moto Guzzi V7 and selected Vespas for low deposits and affordable monthly payments. An RSV4 RR - which we loved on our litre bike test last month - is available with 6.9% APR HP for 24 – 48 months and 6.9% APR PCP finance for 25 – 49 months, with a 6,000-mile yearly limit. The Aprilia 125 range – the Tuono 125, RS 125 & RS 125 Replica, and the new RX and SX 125, are also available with 0% APR HP finance from 12 – 24 or 25 – 36 months with a minimum £399 deposit, until 31st August 2018. Meanwhile Moto Guzzi's cool retro entry-level V7 is available in Rough, Milano, Carbon, Stone and Special versions, with 6.9% HP for 24 – 48 months and 6.9% PCP for 25 –49 months (PCP bikes have a 6,000-mile annual limit). And if you fancy a sweet Vespa scoot, the Sprint 125, GTS 125 (including Touring, SuperSport and Super variants) and Primavera 125 (including the Touring model) offer the following finance packages: 6.9% APR HP for 24– 48 months and 6.9% APR PCP for 25 – 49 months (with 6,000-mile annual limit). On a PCP plan, the Primavera 125 is available from just £65 per month plus deposit while the powerful and elegant GTS 125 SuperSport can be had from £75 per month plus deposit. Finally, Suzuki's gone crackers, and knocked a thousand pounds off its thousand cc bikes, when you trade in your current bike. On its special trade-in weekend on August 17-19, owners can trade in their current motorcycle for a new GSX-R1000R, GSX-S1000, or GSX-S1000F, and get an extra £1000 towards the deal.

Suzuki dealers will accept any make or model as a trade-in, and as well as benefiting from the £1000 extra, customers will also be able to take advantage of Suzuki’s current low-rate finance offer, which allows them to choose from two, three, or four-year deals with an APR to match, and whether they opt for a PCP deal or hire purchase agreement.

Suzuki GB head of motorcycling, Jonathan Martin, announced the weekend, “Our trade-in weekend really does represent an excellent opportunity to get your hands on a brand new GSX-R1000R, or the flagship GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F. Trading in your old bike removes the hassle of selling privately, with the value going towards any deposit put down against the new bike. And with the additional £1000 off the RRP for one weekend only and current low-rate finance deal, it’s a great time to get even lower monthly repayments, making the whole purchase even more affordable.”
