Based on its current motocross bikes that compete in MXGP, Fantic has revealed two new limited ‘NILS Edition’ XXF250 and XXF450 models, which are already available at official dealers.

The arrival of these new limited edition motorcycles comes off the back of the brand debuting its race variant at the MXGP round in Arco di Trento, Italy, in April.

The special ‘Racing Fluid NILS Edition’ was taken to the podium thanks to the brand’s factory rider, Glenn Coldenhoff, who was riding his factory XXF450 machine.

Fantic is currently enjoying a successful adaptation to the Motocross World Championship, as it has already claimed five podiums and a historic first MXGP race win. Coldenhoff was the rider that achieved the victory which came at the British GP in Matterley Basin.

This special edition livery is inspired by the colours of NILS, a renowned lubricant manufacturer from South Tyrol, in Northern Italy.

One of the highlights of the new limited NILS Edition is that the bike is equipped with a new-generation engine featuring a revised cylinder head, front intake, and rear exhaust.

Fantic claims the bike is “extremely agile, nimble, and high-performing” as a result of those changes. Traction control, launch control, and a new multi-switch on the handlebar come as standard, while it also receives a redesigned aluminium frame.

The XXF450 MY25 model also benefits from a new handlebar switch, allowing the rider to choose between three customizable maps, which are Standard, Hard, and Soft.

In addition to the special graphics, the bike will come with a kit that includes a bottle of NILS 4T Race 10W40 engine oil, a chain spray, an air filter spray and a NILS-branded cap. Furthermore, you will get a spare air filter and oil filter, and a set of front and rear replacement brake pads.

We’re still waiting for the confirmed price for the new limited edition models, but more information can be found on the official Fantic website, or by contacting your local dealer.
