Following on from the pair's latest adventure, Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are hitting the stage, as the Long Way Chat live show is announced.

The event takes place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and will see Ewan and Charley, along with their long-time collaborators, David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, taking to the stage to relive the highs and lows of their global expeditions.

The topic of conversation at the show will be all of the duo's previous trips, Long Way Round, Long Way Down, Long Way Up, along with their most recent series, Long Way Home. The latest series saw Boorman and McGregor taking the (very) long way home, from Ewan’s house in Scotland to Charley’s house in England. Instead of just hopping on the M1 and heading south, though, the pair took the longest route they could. crossing the North Sea to Scandinavia, riding up to the Arctic Circle, down to the Baltics, and then through continental Europe on the way back. Adding an extra layer of intrigue was that this trip wasn’t tackled on the best adventure motorcycles or custom electric bikes. Instead, the pair opted for classic bikes, with Ewan riding a Moto Guzzi and Charley picking an airhead BMW.

The show gets fans the chance to be face-to-face with the stars, as they recount the stories behind the cameras, including storytelling, film footage, and behind-the-scenes insights from their lives on the road. The event also has an interactive element to it, in that fans can send in their questions to the team, and, if they are selected, be able to take part in a Q&A with Ewan and Charley during the show.

Ticket pricing isn’t yet released, although they go on pre-sale on May 22 at 10am, with the remaining tickets going on general release on May 23 at 10am. The event is taking place in what is described as an ‘intimate setting’, although, being as it’s taking place at the 10,000-seat (at maximum capacity) Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham, we aren’t sure just how intimate it’ll actually be.

You can find out more about the event on the official website.
