No, you’re not having a case of deja vu, because Ducati has revealed its second Marc Marquez-edition motorcycle in the space of two months. Sadly for most of us, though, it comes with a hefty price tag of £79,300.

You may remember that Ducati revealed new Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia Panigale V2 models just last month at EICMA. However, this new V4 Marquez replica is based on the 2025 Panigale V4 S, albeit with a very unsubtle MotoGP flavour.

You can already see that just by the bike’s looks, as it gains a very similar paint scheme to the Desmosedici GP25. But the Panigale V4 Marquez replica, which is only available in 293 units so you will need to be quick, is derived from Ducati’s MotoGP project in various other ways.

It is equipped with Ducati’s own Corner Sidepods, which are an aerodynamic feature it introduced to MotoGP in 2021. In simple terms this allows the bike to generate better ground effect at high lean angles. “This ensures a higher level of tyre grip and allows for higher cornering speeds, resulting in lower lap times”, according to Ducati.

Another major resemblance between this road-going Marquez replica and the Italian manufacturer’s race bikes, is the Front Brake Pro+ braking system. It is homologated for road use, and consists of two Brembo T-Drive 338.5mm finned discs, that are 6.2mm thick. The front braking system is also supported by Brembo GP4 Sport Production calipers.

What all this gives you is a system that was also used by the official Ducati riders during the 2024 Race of Champions, and one that is derived from the same racing version used in the World Superbike Championship. As part of a press release Ducati goes on to say “the front brake master cylinder is an MCS 19.21 with remote lever position adjustment, as is the case on MotoGP and Superbikes”.

The new special edition V4 uses the brand’s 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, but it has gained slightly more power than the standard model, while stripping down its overall weight. The V4 S produces 216hp at 13,500, but thanks to the addition of an Akrapovič silencer with dedicated engine calibration, the Marquez edition has been bumped up to 218.5hp at the same maximum revs. The Akrapovič silencer is also responsible for helping the bike drop 2.5kg compared to the standard V4 S. More weight has been saved with the five-spoke carbon fibre wheels which have reduced the weight by 0.95 kg compared to the forged wheels of the Panigale V4 S.

In terms of special equipment, the lucky owners of this limited edition model will get a dry clutch kit, adjustable billet aluminium footpegs, and a GPS module. If you want to take advantage of the bike’s potential on the track, a billet aluminium racing fuel tank cap, brake caliper shrouds, an open carbon fibre clutch cover, and a license plate holder removal kit are all supplied as standard.

The high-spec suspension setup is the same across both the Panigale V4 Marquez and V4 S models, with Öhlins NPX-30 pressurised 43mm forks up front, and an Öhlins TTX 36 shock absorber at the rear. The suspension is fully adjustable at both ends of the motorcycle.

The bike’s fuel tank has been signed by Marquez himself, who won his first MotoGP title with Ducati in 2025. This was his seventh in total (premier class) after winning the other six with Honda, and his ninth world title.
