The 2026 Bike Fest International showcased a whole range of custom bike builds from different brands, but it was BSA and Harley-Davidson that took home the most prestigious awards.

Starting with BSA, the ‘Best in Show’ award from the Italian Motorcycle Championship (IMC) went to a custom build named ‘Paruk’, which is a BSA 650 chopper built by Renato Peres.

This year’s event marked the 40th edition of the Bike Fest International event, which was also celebrated with an appearance from four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty.

The superbike legend personally selected a BSA motorcycle called ‘Lulù’, which received the ‘Foggy’s Best’ award, and was crowned winner of the €1,000 (around £860) Zodiac Prize and €200 (roughly £170) San Marco Petroli Fuel Voucher. The bike was built by the Varese-based workshop Mannaia using an S&S V-twin engine.

While custom built BSAs enjoyed success, it was Harley that stood out the most with two wins in the AMD World Championship segment. A Road Glide named ‘La Primera’, built by Bad Boys Garage in Monza-Brianza, Italy, was crowned winner of the FG Racing Prize.

There was also a postmodern take on 1920s Harley-Davidson racing machines through the ‘Model B Nike’ build, which was created by Gallery Motorcycles and Damiano Roncaglioni.

Harley also secured top spot in the Italian Motorcycle Championship, Clubstyle, Modified H-D, Old Style, and Scrambler categories. Additionally, a Harley-Davidson Road Glide took top spot in the Performance Bagger Show, and the Golden Rod Awards.

The Freestyle category was won by a custom built Yamaha XT600, while the Streetfighter segment was toppled by a Buell S1 from Naples, Italy.
