The 2026 Beta XTrainer is undergoing some hefty tweaks with the engine receiving new crankcases, an improved transmission and new graphics as part of the refresh.

The new Beta Enduro XTrainer takes all the best parts of the Italian brand’s top-spec RR machines and wraps them up in a more accessible package. The idea is to give riders who may be new to two-stroke enduro machines a bit more of a chance when out on the trail. With that in mind, the seat height has been dropped by 20mm, bringing it down to a slightly more accommodating 910mm.

The new model retains its 8.8-litre fuel tank capacity, while also getting 320mm of ground clearance and footpegs set at 390mm high. As was the case before, the new model remains the same weight at 99kg.

With regards to everything that’s new, the engine’s new crankcases have been included to house bigger main bearings, while the updated transmission, which was first introduced on the company’s RR X-Pro, was aimed at improving the connection between second and third gear.

The XTrainer also gets a new LED taillight that is more modern than before and sturdier than the previous model, according to Beta. The dashboard, although it provides the same information as the previous model, has been updated to offer better readability.

The brakes come from Nissin, with dual 260mm discs at the front and a single-piston 240mm disc at the rear. The bike features a lightweight, high-performance lithium battery, while the suspension comprises R16V 43mm forks at the front and progressive linkage at the rear.

The suspension is fully adjustable, with the front forks offering adjustable spring pre-load and rebound. Out back the single shock is adjustable in terms of its spring pre-load, compression and rebound.

The bike’s plastic frame components retain the brand’s trademark grey colour scheme, but are updated with different graphics and white finishes.
