Honda CB125R gets new colours
Honda’s entry-level CB125R now has four new styles to choose from.

Honda’s winter refresh is showing no signs of relenting, with the Japanese company giving its entry-level CB125R a boatload of fresh colours.
Since the start of October, Honda has given many of its CB family members a colour refresh, including its middleweight naked, the CB650R. The CB500 Hornet and CB750 Hornet also received the same treatment as part of their 2026 update, which also included the addition of Honda’s E-Clutch technology.
The CB125R is the latest model to gain a completely new palette for 2026, as it now arrives in Matt Rock Gray, Matt Lucent Silver Metallic, Zefiro Blue Metallic, and Matt Pearl Diaspro Red.

Making use of a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, the CB125R’s current power unit was introduced as part of an engine upgrade in 2021. Its next big update came in 2024, allowing it to meet Euro5+ emission standards. The CB125R produces 14.7 bhp at 10,000rpm and 8.5 Ib-ft of torque at 8,000rpm.
The rest of the bike keeps many of the same high-spec features as before, including the use of 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD front forks. At the rear is a monoshock that’s non-adjustable.
Braking duties are carried out by a 296mm hubless floating front disc, gripped by a radial-mount Nissin four-piston caliper. A 220mm disc is paired with a single-piston caliper at the rear.

Both are modulated by two-channel ABS, while the 2026 CB125R again features full LED lighting and a five-inch TFT display.
The CB125R’s wheelbase is set at 1345mm, while ground clearance comes in at a modest 140mm. Seat height is pitched at a comfortable 816mm, while the bike’s overall kerb weight is set at 130kg.
