Triumph has added another arrow to its adventure-sport quiver for 2026 with the new Tiger Sport 800 Tour. It takes the existing 800 platform and nudges it firmly toward the touring side of the spectrum, bundling in the kit owners usually end up adding anyway.

At its core, it’s the familiar Tiger Sport 800. Same 800cc triple, same lively character, same responsive handling dynamics. The Tour version adds a full suite of long-distance upgrades. Heated grips, hand guards, a centre stand and Triumph’s dual Comfort Seat all come fitted as standard. There’s also integrated luggage: colour-matched panniers offering 57 litres of storage and a 49-litre top box complete with dual backrest pads, all mounted to an aluminium rack. TPMS joins the electronics package too, bringing a bit more peace of mind on the motorway slog.

Triumph has also given the Tour its own aesthetic. Two new colour schemes, with Matt Cobalt and Carnival Red extending across the bodywork and the luggage, giving it a cohesive, factory-finished look rather than an accessorised-after-purchase one.

Performance remains familiar territory, with the triple producing a quoted 113bhp at 10,750rpm, with the bulk of its torque available in the midrange. A six-speed gearbox with Triumph Shift Assist is standard, and the chassis setup mirrors the Sport: Showa suspension front and rear, with adjustment where you’d want it and a remote preload adjuster for pillion days. Radial calipers bite twin 310mm discs up front, while Michelin Road 5 tyres handle the sport-touring brief.

The ergonomics stay sensibly roomy. The Tour retains its spacious riding position but adds an upgraded Comfort Seat, along with an adjustable screen and deflectors for enhanced wind protection. Despite arriving fully kitted and fully loaded, Triumph lists the wet weight at 232kg (including the luggage), meaning it shouldn’t feel unwieldy at town speeds.

Electronics are carried over too: three riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain), ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, and optimised cornering ABS and TC. Triumph’s connectivity system with navigation and Bluetooth sits behind a combined LCD/TFT dash, and lighting is full LED.

Prices start at £12,895, with bikes expected in UK dealers from February 2026. As always, Triumph’s accessories catalogue is standing by for those who want to personalise the Tour further - although for once, many riders may find they don’t need to.
