Honda CB750 Hornet gets big colour refresh
Honda’s CB750 Hornet has gained four new colours for 2026, and the brand’s E-Clutch technology.

Honda has done two things in bulk heading into 2026, which includes blessing various models with its E-Clutch technology, as well as giving those same motorcycles plenty of new attractive colours.
The 2026 CB750 Hornet is no different as it gains the same E-Clutch system that’s also been introduced to the CB500 Hornet.

Other models that have gained the technology system as part of Honda’s new and updated model release at EICMA, includes the XL750 Transalp, CB500R and NX500.
If you’re unfamiliar with how Honda’s E-Clutch technology works, and would like to know more about it, check out Visordown Editor Toad Hancocks’ comprehensive guide to Honda’s E-Clutch system.
Should customers opt for the E-Clutch model, they’ll be getting a system that “provides next level riding enjoyment, working much more quickly and smoothly than a quickshifter, up and down the gearbox”, according to the Japanese brand.

The CB750 Hornet is available with or without the E-Clutch function, and comes in four fresh colour combinations for 2026. They include Graphite Black & Matt Ballistic Black Metallic with Red Frame, Wolf Silver Metallic & Iridium Gray Metallic, Goldfinch Yellow & Wolf Silver Metallic, and finally, a Matt Jeans Blue Metallic & Mat Ballistic Black Metallic variant.
What isn’t new for 2026, like many things, is the engine. That means the CB750 Hornet continues to use its 755cc, parallel twin-cylinder power unit that produces 90.5bhp at 9,500rpm and 55.3 Ib-ft of torque at 7,250rpm.

Suspension aboard the 2026 CB750 Hornet is handled in full by Showa, with 41mm Separate Fork Function Big Piston USD forks and a rear shock that works through Pro-Link. Braking comes via dual 296mm discs with Nissin radial-mount, four-piston calipers at the front, while the rear gets a 240mm disc that's paired with a single-piston caliper.
