Jay Leno meets the Vee Two Ducati Imola Evo

Jay Leno rides 900 SS with replica 750 bevel drive engine

IF YOU KNOW anything about Jay Leno, it’s probably that he’s a serious petrol head, with a passion for bikes as well as cars - a passion which is well documented in his YouTube show, Jay Leno’s Garage.

In the latest instalment, Leno gets up close with a 1981 Ducati 900 SS built by Australian company Vee Two, which is headed up by Brook Henry and Andrew Catchcart, son of legendary bike journo Alan Cathcart.

Together the pair have made this stunning Ducati Imola Evo, powered by an air-cooled OHC 90° V-twin with bevel drive camshafts. The engine is a replica of a Ducati 750 bevel twin and is built by Vee Two, using Ducati’s original engine drawings, and it sounds as gorgeous as it looks.
