New: AGV K5 helmet

2015 K5 range revealed

AGV has just revealed its new K5 helmet range for 2015.

The new lid is made from carbon and glass fibres with small spoilers aimed at reducing turbulence and increasing rider comfort at high speed.

It has three front intakes, two on the side and one in the middle for ventilation. Two extractors at the rear are said to further improve circulation in the helmet.

The new K5 also has two outer and four inner shell sizes to help guarantee 'the best safety and lightness combination', and according to the Italian firm, the visor allows for improved peripheral vision over other helmets.

The visor is also scratch-resistant, pinlock-ready, and offers 'full protection' against UV rays.

An internal smoked-colour sun visor comes fitted as standard and can be removed without tools for cleaning or replacement. The liners are removable and washable too.

Like the old model, the new K5 features a D-ring retention system and is Bluetooth ready via AGV's 'Share System'.

In size M, the K5 weighs 1,390g and is priced at £219.
