Good looking trail bike that can handle the dirt.
Again, it’s a CCM, so build quality is a minus.

Overall Review

Too many faults during my ownership. Would not consider CCM again. Glad to shift it on if I were to be honest.

Strengths

Good handling, light , decent engine.

Weaknesses

Poor build quality on some machines. Electrical gremlins and component failure. Your bollocks won't thank you if riding more than 40 or 50 miles, seat is padded razor-blade. Much better options out there for your money IMHO. Subframes distort easily if dropped.

Overall Review

Getting long in the tooth now and hard to find as it's no longer produced , but the strong engine stands the test of time . And cycle parts and plastics are all easily sourced . Value is high on all older trail bikes xr dr and gage ccm , because no one makes a larger engine trail bike anymore and the current 250 bikes are very weak A much better buy for trail riding than an old hard used enduro bike and still good enough to enter an event if you wish

Strengths

As a trail bike this almost stands alone in today's market unless you want to run high maintenance enduro bikes The drz engine is reliable and economical and has plenty of power .the 11 litre fuel tank is perfect for long days off-road The white power suspension Brembo brakes and other parts normally found on ktm,ps make the package the best in class and void quality The only other real choice is a drz 400 suzuki which is heavier and has inferior suspension and cycle parts

Weaknesses

Ccm build quality needs to be overcome in some areas The silencer is a poor fit , and the air filter is a poor Design The compression damping on the rear shock is hard to get at , and the air box breather needs a decent one way valve fitting. All small items than can be modded quite easily A 6 speed gearbox would give a better spread of gears for moor difficult off road use
