This Tom Cruise Signed Keeway Superlight 125 Could Be Yours
A cheap and cheerful Keeway Superlight, signed by Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise, goes up for auction

The bike mad star of the Mission: Impossible films, Tom Cruise, has added his signature to a rather innocuous little bike, a Keeway Superlight 125.
Tom Cruise is normally associated with more high-performance two-wheelers, be it for running from the baddies on a BMW S1000 RR in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, or leaping from 1,246m high Helsetkopen clifftop on a Honda CRF250 in Dead Rekoning. The words ‘Tom Cruise’ and ‘Keeway Superlight 125’, though, have probably never been used in the same sentence.

Until now, as the Top Gun star was talked into signing the fuel tank of a Keeway Superlight 125 in April 2024. Cruise was on a film shoot in Paris, while working on the Olympic Games opening ceremony. After a quick chat to the bike’s owner, Cruise agreed to sign the matt black fuel tank of the bike, which was then quickly sealed with a protective coating to protect it from the elements.

Now the owner is hoping to cash in on the actor’s signature, with the bike finding its way onto the Catawiki auction platform - and they aren’t holding back with the price either. In France the dinky Superlight 125 LTD has a starting price of €2,895 (around £2,400). The top estimate on the auction listing is a more punchy €3,500 (around £3,000). So, our question to you, is a Tom Cruise signed Chinese-built 125 really worth the extra cash?
The bike itself is a fairly simple little cruiser, powered by a 124cc air-cooled engine that produces a wheezy 10.4bhp. American cruiser styling aside, it’s basically a cost-effective bike with a cruiser look to it, complete with swooping fenders and a low-set seat. So we are guessing that it’s possibly not worth the extra dough. Who knows, though, Hollywood autograph hunters are a weird and wonderful bunch. If one of them has a penchant for Tom Cruise, and a longing to own a slow and underpowered 125 cruiser, this could be the auction for them!
