SW-Motech hosted its 17th Open House event last weekend, and after 25,000 people walked through the doors, dates for the 2027 edition have already been announced.

The motorcycle accessory specialists hosted the 2026 event in the city of Rauschenberg, which is located near Frankfurt, Germany. Major motorcycle manufacturers were also in attendance, with visitors able to test ride new models from the likes of BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, and Honda.

Models from Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, Husqvarna, and Zero were also available for test rides.

This proved to be a particularly popular element of the event, with more than 2,600 test rides recorded. While new motorcycles played a big part in the event, so did SW-Motech’s accessories catalogue, with the company showing off its latest products, including the new Peax luggage line which features a strapless saddlebag system.

Visitors were also treated to a first-hand look at how SW-Motech develops its products, through a tour of its facilities. Attendees gained insights into prototype development, the manufacturing of luggage systems, and quality assurance.

SW-Motech also says that various stations offered hands-on demonstrations showing how its products are made, inspected, and tested for their suitability for everyday use on motorcycles.

Fabian Rhiel, Managing Director of SW-Motech, said this about the company’s 17th edition of the open house event:

“For us, Open House is much more than just an in-house exhibition. It’s a gathering place for motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Europe. The atmosphere on the grounds, the many conversations, and the tremendous response show us year after year just how vibrant and international this community is.”
