Ruroc has updated its AT4.0 line-up with the addition of new Eclipse and Chrome models, which feature ‘the most complex paint jobs ever developed’ by the brand.

The new Chrome edition has been built using an eight-stage nano-painting - also known as ceramic painting - process, which gives it a mirror-like liquid metal finish. The new Eclipse model offers a more stealthy appearance compared to the Liquid Carbon edition, which also comprises a fully blacked-out design.

Ruroc’s new limited edition helmets join an already extensive AT4.0 line-up which features Batman and Joker-inspired lids, as well as Harley Quinn and Reaper models.

Both helmets benefit from a lightweight carbon fibre shell, Rheon impact protection, a Fidlock magnetic chin strap, and built-in compatibility with the company’s Shockwave Bluetooth audio system.

Speaking of the Shockwave system, Ruroc is currently running a Holiday Bundle on its website, where customers can buy a AT4.0 helmet with the audio device included free of charge. The Holiday Bundle also covers some of the helmets in the brand’s EOX line-up.

The new Chrome and Eclipse models are both certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, and the latter is already available to buy. The AT4.0 Carbon Chrome can be purchased from September, but in limited quantities.

“These are more than colourways - they’re precision finishes that required us to completely reimagine our painting process,” said Daniele Caruso, Head of Design at Ruroc. “Chrome in particular pushed every limit. But we knew the results had to be worthy of the AT4.0 Carbon. With Eclipse and Chrome, we’ve created pieces of art riders can actually wear.”

You can find out more about both helmets by heading to the official Ruroc website.
