This Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 goes full cafe racer with custom build
Yet another Royal Enfield motorbike has made its way into the custom build world, with this Shotgun 650 going full cafe racer.

This Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has been stripped down for a complete overhaul, with only the engine remaining fully stock as part of its cafe racer-inspired transformation.
It’s fair to say Royal Enfield has emerged as a competitor to the likes of Triumph and Harley-Davidson, two brands that have been adored by the custom-build community.
Just last week, we brought you a Super Meteor 350 that had undergone a hefty change of character, but this Shotgun 650 has been transformed even further. The motorbike in question can be found on the official Royal Enfield YouTube channel.
Getting a completely custom chassis and swingarm, the bike’s appearance has been further streamlined as a result, while key modifications include an aluminium fuel tank, a mono-shock rear suspension, and Pirelli race slick tires for optimal performance and grip.
The build was performed by Rajputana Customs, in collaboration with Royal Enfield.
While the USD forks appear similar to the base model, they are mounted differently on the wheel. That brings us on to the next change, which is the wheels themselves as they are handmade spoke wheels with a blacked-out finish.
The engine is housed inside a unique frame which, at first glance, looks more akin to an electric bike, thanks to its thin, but sharp dimensions. The handlebars are also extremely low down, almost putting the rider on top of the front wheel.
Rajputana Customs has left the bike’s parallel-twin engine as it was. However, there is a free-flow two-into-two exhaust system, meaning its claimed power figures should be slightly higher than the stock machine which produces 45.3bhp and 38Ib-ft of torque.
