POOR OLD Ruben Xaus' 2010 WSB season didn't get off to the best start - and here's the pictures to prove it.
The Spaniard, who partners Troy Corser in the official BMW Motorrad team, lobbed his S1000RR superbike through one of Portimao's expansive gravel traps during the weekend's official World Superbike tests. Thankfully, the Spaniard walked away without serious injury.
On the whole, Xaus endured a mediocre weekend, languishing towards the bottom of the timesheets. He did, however, mangage to post the seventh-fastest time in Saturday's rain-soaked afternoon session, with a best of 1min 51.170s.
