MotoGP 2012: Aragon results

Dominant Pedrosa seals an impressive win

DANI PEDROSA recorded a convincing win at Aragon, closing the gap on title favourite Jorge Lorenzo.

Pedrosa has now closed the gap to 33 points with four rounds of the championship remaining.

Nicky Hayden suffered an unfortunate accident when he ran off track, couldn't stop and slammed into a tyre barrier. Hayden, who recently suffered a concussion and fractured hand at Indianapolis, was not seriously injured and was described as 'ok'.

Valentino Rossi, in last place after an early tangle with Jonathan Rea, battled his way through the pack to finish eighth.
