Furygan introduces a new universal airbag vest for 2021

Designed to be worn under any motorcycle jacket, the Furygan x In&Motion Airbag vest is available in UK motorcycle dealers now. Safety & style!

Furygan Airbag Vest In&Motion

FURYGAN has released a universal motorcycle airbag vest that can be worn underneath any jacket on the market, and makes use of innovative In&Motion tech for fully autonomous deployment when you need it.

As well as being the only wearable airbag on the market with a Level 2 CE-approved back protector as standard, there are also slots for optional D30 LNR chest protectors in the ultra-stretch and breathable 3D mesh lining.

Made possible with the In&Motion In&box unit which acts as the ‘brain’ to measure the position of the user 1000 times a second, with inflation possible in less than 60 milliseconds in the event of an accident.

In order to continue improving the deployment algorithm, continuous data analysis is conducted from the thousands of riders worldwide who use the system in the road, track and off-road settings - which the box has optional settings for which will take into account the extra lean angle and/or aggressive riding style changes.

Should the airbag be deployed (and not damaged) in an accident, it can be reset at home with the purchase of a £90 replacement inflator unit housed in the back protector. You won’t need to send off the vest to be reset by Furygan until the third deployment or the vest is damaged.

How much is the Furygan x In&Motion Airbag Vest?

At a starting price of £379.99 for the vest, a subscription to In&Motion will also be required as a one-off purchase, or rental purchase at £120 per year or £12 monthly. Track and Off-Road modes are £25/year or £8/month each.

Worth noting, if you rent the In&box unit for 2 years, you are given the option of a final £99 payment to own the unit.
