Picasso confirms world championship debut for OMT 450c
Picasso Engineering’s OMT 450c is set to compete on the world stage for the first time in 2026.

Picasso Engineering’s Honda-powered OMT 450c has officially been entered into the 2026 Flat Track World Championship.
The Swiss manufacturer is set to participate as an official constructor under the regulations set out by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. Picasso Engineering has also confirmed that Team OMT will field two motorcycles throughout the season.
There’s currently no news on which two riders will be competing aboard the OMT 450c machines, with Picasso saying this will be confirmed at a later date.
The company’s OMT 450c flattracker features carbon fibre frame technology with progressive stiffness. The system used by Picasso Engineering is the first of its kind for a race bike in its class, and according to the company, it offers "unprecedented levels of agility, control and responsiveness”.
It also features a modified Honda CRF450 engine, which is paired with a chassis and geometry that’s been hand-tuned by Picasso.
Picasso recently showed off the OMT 450c at The I.C.E in St Moritz, Switzerland, which is a popular winter event that draws in motorcycle and car enthusiasts, collectors, and more. It was also used by MV Agusta as the location to reveal its new Rush Titanio model.
Speaking about the company’s participation in the 2026 Flat Track World Championship, Stefano Picasso said:
“Entering the FIM Flat Track World Championship for the first time is a moment of great pride for our company. This project is the result of years of dedication, research, and passion for motorsport. Bringing two motorcycles to the 2026 season represents both a challenge and an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of our engineering at the highest level. We approach this new adventure with determination and confidence in our team and our technology.”
