Norton will build its new flagship bikes here in the UK
The reborn Norton is preparing to roll out a new flagship range from its Solihull HQ, backed by £200 million of TVS investment and a bold plan for global growth.

Norton Motorcycles is putting the finishing touches to its Solihull headquarters as the factory prepares to begin production of an all-new flagship line of bikes later this year.
What those bikes will be has not been officially confirmed by the brand. Still, with production of the Commando 961 being curtailed earlier this year, and the spyshots of its new V4 superbike breaking cover at a similar time, our money is on the new Norton V4 rolling off the Solihull production line soon.

The British brand, now owned by TVS Motor Company, has already seen more than £200 million invested in its revival. That cash is being poured into both the factory itself and the development of fresh models, with the first machines set to break cover in just a few weeks.

The new flagship will be the first of a new breed of Norton, carrying a modern design language that the firm says will set the tone for its next generation of bikes. It will also be the first time we see the company’s refreshed brand identity rolled out across its model line-up.
TVS is keen to underline its long-term commitment to Norton, and Solihull is very much the focal point of that plan. More than 25 per cent has been added to the workforce since the start of 2025, as the company looks ahead to a new phase of growth and expansion.

The wider aim is clear, to put British motorcycle manufacturing firmly back on the map. The project is creating jobs, boosting skills, and bringing more work to UK suppliers, all while bolstering Britain’s reputation as a hub for premium motorcycles.
Nevijo Mance, Executive Director at Norton Motorcycles, said:
“Norton’s Solihull HQ is at the heart of our global resurgence strategy. By investing in cutting-edge British manufacturing, we are ensuring that Norton continues to set the benchmark in design, engineering, technology and performance. This is more than an investment in Norton, it is an investment in British industry, engineering talent and a proud heritage that has made Norton Motorcycles world-renowned.”
For those eager to see what comes next, Norton has already started teasing glimpses of its new machines on social media. The full reveal will take place at EICMA in Milan on 4 November 2025, where the new flagship will lead the charge into the brand’s next chapter.
