Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 concept debuts

The 2025 Motoverse event saw a range of upcoming 2026 Royal Enfield models make their debut in India, as did this Continental GT-R 750 concept.

Royal Enfield’s foray into the world of 750cc motorcycles is getting closer after a new concept was revealed at Motoverse, in India.

A brand-new Continental GT 750 is one of two models we could see in the near future as part of Royal Enfield’s arrival in the 750cc segment. The other being the company’s well-documented Himalayan 750, although production-ready models might not land until the second half of 2026.

Still, Royal Enfield has created a fair amount of buzz surrounding its upcoming 750cc plans, and now there’s a race version of the new Continental GT 750 to go alongside the expected road bike.

Unlike the new Bullet 650, Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition, and other models from Royal Enfield, which made their debut at EICMA on 4 November, there was no grand reveal for the Continental GT-R 750. That’s no great surprise as it remains a concept model at this stage, however, it could still be seen in a semi-open crated box.

Now, the bike has again been spotted in Goa, India, as part of the Motoverse festival which is an event organised by Royal Enfield.

While many details are unknown, we can clearly see that this race-spec version of the Continental GT 750 does not include a headlight, taillight or turn indicators. The cafe racer can also be seen with Showa front forks and twin shocks at the rear. It also gets low clip-on handlebars, and a shortened sub-frame.

One of the major changes with the new Continental GT 750 will be the new, more powerful engine. Currently, the Continental GT 650 produces 46.8bhp at 7,250rpm and 38.5 Ib-ft of torque, but those numbers will inevitably rise a little bit if and when the new model does eventually arrive.

Speaking specifically about the new race concept, it features a similar look to the current Continental GT-R 650 models that are used in Royal Enfield’s GT Cup, in India. We don’t yet know whether those models would be replaced by the incoming GT-R 750, though. It’s also possible that the race series could ultimately serve as a test bed for the new motor.
