Moto Morini X-Cape 700 Gold Edition arrives in the UK
Moto Morini’s X-Cape 700 Gold Edition is Italian-only no more, as it’s now available in the UK.

Moto Morini’s first move since confirming Moto73 as its new UK distributor at the start of 2026, has led to this glossed-up X-Cape 700 Gold Edition arriving on our shores.
It arrives with a slightly higher spec level than the standard X-Cape 700, gaining more tech, equipment, and gold wheels. It’s that last addition that gives this special X-Cape 700 its ‘Gold Edition’ name.
At the heart of the X-Cape 700 Gold Edition is the same updated parallel-twin engine that’s housed by the standard model. That means an increase to its engine displacement compared to the previous X-Cape 650, going from 649cc to 693cc, which has also resulted in a peak power increase of 20 per cent.

The new model now delivers 71 hp (70 bhp) at 8,500rpm, while torque figures have been lifted from 41 to 50Ib-ft, which it achieves at 7,000rpm.
The Gold Edition first landed in Italy in June 2025, and it fits into the company’s middleweight adventure range, with off-roading in mind.

Moto Morini’s top-spec Gold Edition features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked Akront gold wheels that are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. It also gets a centre stand, remote rear shock preload adjustment, and an integrated front dashcam. Completing the premium package is traction control, heated grips, and a heated seat, all of which will be available for UK customers.
An aluminium bash plate and robust handguards also feature as standard, while the X-Cape 700 also makes use of an 18-litre fuel tank. It will be available in three colour schemes, including the Carrara White that you can see in the images above, Red Passion, and Ebony Black.

The new Gold Edition is priced at £6,699, which means it’s £3,405 cheaper than the Yamaha Tenere 700, for example.
