Moto Morini chooses Moto72 as UK distributor
Moto Morini will continue distributing motorcycles in the UK after all, as Lancashire-based importer Moto73 has stepped in at the eleventh hour.

After its partnership with MotoMondo ended on December 31, Chinese-owned Moto Morini has already appointed a new UK distributor.
The announcement from MotoMondo came at the end of October, with the UK set to be one of several countries impacted.
Distribution of Moto Morini motorcycles was set to be stopped in some European markets such as France, Germany and Ireland. But in the UK, Lancashire-based importer Moto73 has now filled that role, starting January 1, 2026.

Moto Morini was founded in Bologna in 1937. And although it is now owned by Zhongneng Vehicle Group (ZNEN), the brand’s headquarters and design centre remain near Milan, Italy. Moto Morini says that remains the case “to preserve the ‘Italian soul’ and styling of the bikes with manufacturing taking place in China to keep costs low.”
Moto73 is the same importer/distributor that was behind QJMotor’s recent arrival in the UK, and it will offer four Moto Morini models initially. They include the X-Cape 1200, X-Cape 700, and AlltrHike, all of which reside in the brand’s adventure range. Then there’s the Calibro cruiser, which features a 700cc inline twin-cylinder engine, which will also be available at a price of £6,699.
All four models come with a three-year warranty, while the X-Cape 1200 comes in a total of three colours, which are Energy Red, Viper Black, and Arctic White. The big-bodied adventure tourer is priced at £11,299.
The smaller X-Cape 700 also comes in three colour flavours, including Red Passion, Carrara White, Ebony Black. The adventure middleweight is priced at £6,699. The AllthHike will cost UK customers £5,299, and features a 450cc inline twin-cylinder engine that produces a claimed 45 hp (44.3bhp) and 30.9 Ib-ft of torque.
