SUZUKI'S line-up for 2014 will include two new editions of its Intruder cruiser range.

There’s a new variant of the M1800RZ Intruder with all the existing version’s chrome replaced with a matt or gloss black finish.

The exhausts, engine, forks, bars and clocks have all turned back. It’s also got a new black and yellow paint scheme and yellow rim tape on the black wheels. It’s called the M18000RBZ Intruder. It’s already sold in the US as the Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S

It was displayed at the recent Milan show but Suzuki GB wouldn’t say whether it would be in the UK line-up. Now the firm has confirmed it will be on the Suzuki stand at the NEC Motorcycle Live Show starting this Saturday.
It will join a new edition of the 800 Intruder series, the C800B, which has also turned black where the current range is chrome.

Suzuki says the Motorcycle Live stand will also feature a ‘factory special edition’ Hayabusa and GSR750.
The firm added in a release: ‘UK special edition models include a GSX-R750 sprinkled with Yoshimura parts and genuine accessories, complimenting the factory red and black paint scheme, a V-Strom 650 Touratech concept, [and] an Inazuma 250 and GSX1250FA with new graphics.’

Suzuki will have display of classic machines celebrating 50 years in the UK, a selection of which will fired-up, including Barry Sheene's 1975 RG500 and Kevin Schwantz's 1994 RGV500.

And of course there will be the entire 2014 range, including the new Burgman 125 scooter.

No word on the revised SV650 our source promised though. The model was missing from Milan. Suzuki GB has assured us it’s still in the UK line-up. Could it be going the same way as the Bandit 650? Saturday will tell.

Motorcycle Live runs from November 23 to December 1 at Birmingham’s NEC.
