New: Peugeot Speedfight 125

Peugeot's best-selling scooter now available as a 125

PEUGEOT'S best-selling Speedfight scooter is now available with a 125cc engine.

The 4-stroke engine has been tuned for mid-range torque and transmits its power through upside-down forks and 13” wheels fitted with 130/60 section sports profile tyres.

The scooter weighs 114kg, has a 1290mm wheelbase, and carries a 7.5L fuel tank beneath the floor pan to lower its centre of gravity.

Braking power is delivered by a 214mm brake disc with a four piston radial caliper at the front, backed up by a 196mm rear disc with twin piston caliper.

The Speedfight 125 comes with a digital dashboard, stainless steel bar ends and a dual function 12V charging socket.

Pillions get retractable aluminium footrests and a dual-texture seat. Beneath the seat is a lockable luggage bay that will store a full face helmet.

More than half a million Speedfights have been sold since its launch in the mid-1990s, but this is the first time that Peugeot have produced the scooter in this engine size.

Prices start at £2,299 for the Speedfight 125, which will be available in a choice of ‘Dragon Red’ or ‘Sapphire Blue’.
