After teasing nine new models prior to EICMA 2026, Benda has since delivered on what many expected, which is a brand-new adventure motorcycle.

The Chinese brand unveiled the new Capra 700 at the Milan show on November 3, which produces 72bhp from its 691.6cc 65-degree V-twin engine.

Benda is best known for producing small-to-mid size cruisers, however, by revealing the new Capra 700 it is attempting to crack a very congested and popular adventure market.

The new model was designed at Benda’s European design centre and developed by the company’s engineering team in Hangzhou, China.

The road-focused Capra 700 produces its 72bhp at 9,000rpm alongside 50 Ib-ft of torque at 6,500rpm.

It is wrapped inside a steel trellis frame, while also featuring an aluminium swingarm, adjustable upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Furthermore, the Capra 700 gets a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup.

Benda quotes a seat height of 850mm, a curb weight of 220kg and an 18-litre fuel tank. Additional equipment includes a vertical TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, two-channel ABS, traction control, and a USB charging port.

Benda has not confirmed availability or pricing for the new Capra 700 at this stage, but we do know that the bike will arrive in the UK.

The Chinese manufacturer arrived in the UK in 2025 with three cruiser models, including the Chinchilla 500 and Napoleonbob 500, as well as the LFC 700.

Speaking about the brand’s all-new Capra 700, George Schelfaut, Transportation Designer at Benda Motor Europe, said:

“We’re delighted to unveil the all-new Capra 700 at EICMA 2026, marking an important milestone in Benda’s ambitions for the European market. Entering the adventure motorcycle segment represents a significant step in expanding our portfolio and reaching new riders, while bringing Benda’s design philosophy to a new category. We’re proud to introduce the Capra 700 and look forward to sharing more details soon.”

Brembo handles the bike’s stopping power with a four-piston radial caliper up front and a single-piston Brembo rear. These are paired with single discs at both ends of the bike.

The Capra 700 is likely to position itself as a rival to the likes of Kawasaki’s new KLE650, the KTM 790 Adventure, and the Yamaha Ténéré 700.
