54 years 9 monthsMBP has launched a new cruiser, the C1002V, with a V-twin engine and credentials that could make it a genuine contender in the cruiser class.
MBPs C1002V has a 997cc V-twin engine with cylinders positioned at 80 degrees. A design which has always produced an impressive amount of power. The new machine produces a maximum power of 94 horsepower with 7600rpm and a maximum torque of 102Nm.
The MBP C1002V has been pinned as a serious challenger to the likes of Harley-Davidson in the cruiser segment of the motorcycle market. The MBP C1002V cruiser that was unveiled at EICMA has already been called a serious contender to Harley Davidsons throne for 2023. The Italian manufacturer has been making some heads turn away from the American giant in favour of their new addition.
In terms of design the C1002V has a blacked out mechanical look with a long fuel tank and large proportions, with a sporty look to the rear end. It also comes in either a red or a black colour.
Even with the new powerful engine MBP has tried to keep a vintage look to its cruiser. One of the main ways that MBP have tried to keep a classic cruiser look is with their vintage styled headlight. The central headlight of the C1002V has a circular design that offers a classic look and increases visibility with its four individual lights. As well as the headlight feature the C1002V also boasts modern technology with the likes of switchable engine maps and also a cruise control system to give an even smoother rider.
The price for MBPs newest contender to the cruiser market is yet to be revealed to the public. It looks like we will be waiting for that information into the new year.
