Ducati has added two more editions to its successful Scrambler range as it continued with the second in its series of new model launches that will premiere over the next couple of months.

Following on from the new Ducati Multistrada V2, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard are two distinct variations on the familiar Scrambler format, with the former branded a ‘homage’ to the firm’s first twin-cylinder engine and the latter showcasing a modern look to target a ‘younger’ generation.

The additions bring the Ducati Scrambler range to a total of ten models across 800cc and 1100cc engine options.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO

A fourth addition to the 1100 PRO line-up, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO harks back to the very first twin-cylinder Ducati to go on sale back in 1971 and celebrates the achievements of the Borgo Panigale firm over the ensuing 50 years.

Emblazoned in a special ‘Giallo Ocra’ yellow livery, the Tribute PRO amps its retro-leanings with the addition of the Giugiaro-penned Ducati logo and typeface of its time, plus the synonymous dark tanned seat, black trellis frame and black detailing on the wire wheels.

Under the classic lines sits the venerable 1079cc engine producing 86hp at 7,500rpm with a torque value of 4,750rpm, tweaked to pull at low revs.

The standard trio of PRO riding modes and Ducati Traction Control are standard, plus the LED-brightened single circular headlamp unit.

Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard

At the other end of the scale the Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard eyes up a younger demographic with what Ducati refers to as a contemporary refresh that borrows heavily from the sister Ducati Hypermotard.

Typified by its red and white livery, echoing the style of the original Marlboro-sponsored Ducati MotoGP machines, the Urban Motard blends elements of the Nightshift and Desert Sled models with a side-mounted number plate panel, flat seat and beaked front mudguard

It is powered by an 803cc L-twin engine producing 73bhp at 8,250rpm, and is designed to be nimble in urban environments and capable off-road. 

Kit levels for both models include Ducati Multimedia System, which enables smartphone connectivity, and a USB socket under the seat.

Ducati’s broad range of accessories will also apply to give owners the opportunity to put their own customising stamp on the motorcycles, including alternative seats, tank panels and exhausts.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard will hit dealerships in November and are available in detuned 35kW format for A2 licence holders.
