THE news last week that British marque BSA was officially making its return to motorcycle manufacturing was something that got many people excited.

The brand was a big part of the story of motorcycling in its heyday, making some iconic bikes and helping to cement the UK as the epicentre of global motorcycling.

The returning brand, now part of the Mahindra-owned Classic Legends group, will be making its first appearance on UK soil this December as its participation in Motorcycle Live at the NEC is confirmed.

The return will be taking place in Hall 4 of the show, stand 4D10, and it is likely to be a very busy location. Not only will the brand be officially welcomed to the NEC for the first time in years, there will also be new metal at the heart of the story. With such a rich and varied history, we expect Beeza to bring along some of its most storied models from years gone by, along with some of what we can expect from the marque in the future.

BSA has confirmed that a new model will be revealed to the world live at the show, with signs pointing to its being the production version of the bike we reported on undergoing testing last week.

A statement on the Motorcycle Live website reads:

Over 100 years since the first BSA motorcycle hit the road, BSA is back – and the stage is set at Motorcycle Live for us to showcase our new motorcycle for the first time, as well as paying homage to the models that stamped an indelible mark on the world of motorcycling.
