250cc Pulse Adrenaline announced

Enters over-125cc market with £2k version of its Adrenaline

LLEXETER, the Devon-based company that sells Chinese bikes under the Lexmoto and Pulse brands, has taken its first step away from its traditional learner-bike segment by announcing a 250cc version of its Pulse Adrenaline supermoto-style bike.

The 125cc version of the Adrenaline has seen a level of success with sales of over 2,000 units to date, and Llexeter evidently believes there is enough demand for a larger-engined version.

At £1,999, it will be the cheapest new 250cc bike on the market, in a segment that has come alive in the last few years with entries from Honda (CBR250R, CRF250M), Suzuki (Inazuma 250), Kawasaki (Ninja 300), Hyosung (GT250, GT250R) and Daelim (VJF 250). Yamaha, Aprilia and KTM are also reported to be readying their entrants.

The first Adrenaline 250s will be available around the end of June.
