The 2024 Ducati Panigale V2 has been announced with a sleek looking black on black livery

2024 Panigale V2

IF you are looking for a usable sportbike with real-world potential on the road and MotoGP-inspired handling dynamics on the track, the Ducati Panigale V2 is a bike that is likely at the top of your list.

With a chassis developed from the all-conquering Panigale V4, what the smaller V-twin lacks in power, it more than makes up for in handling and braking performance.

Ducati has announced a new colourway for the bike for 2024, with a stealthy black machine joining the already available Ducati Red bike that is available as standard.

The stealthy new look features dark matt grey which is spliced with glossy black elements. The livery is completed by the Panigale V2 logo and the red details on the tank, fairings and wheels. Another new feature introduced by the Black on Black Livery is the saddle, with new graphics and materials.

Beneath the skin the new bike is technically the same as before, meaning it’s powered by a 955 cc Superquadro twin-cylinder which is Euro 5-approved. It produces a healthy but useable 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and a peak torque of 104 Nm (76.7 lb-ft)  at 9,000 rpm. Compare that to the raft of top-flight 200+bhp sports bikes on the market - which in many cases don’t allow you to scratch the surface on the road - and the little Panigale becomes a more enticing prospect for those focused on pure road riding.

Joining both the red and black versions of the bike for 2024 is the special Panigale V2 Bayliss edition.
Pricing and delivery details of the new Panigale V2 for 2024 are TBC, we’ll update the article once this information is known.
