Do want to make an MV Agusta really, really expensive? Step this way...
MV Agusta unveils Sartoria Meccanica, an exclusive customisation program letting riders create fully bespoke, one-of-one motorcycles crafted in Italy.

MV Agusta has launched Sartoria Meccanica (which translates to ‘Mechanical Tailoring’), a new ultra-exclusive customisation program that takes the brand’s obsession with design to its logical extreme.
Based at the company’s Centro Stile design studio in Schiranna, the program lets buyers turn any MV into a genuine one-off, created through direct collaboration with the firm’s engineers and stylists.

And this isn’t online configurators or preset options. Sartoria Meccanica works more like an Italian tailoring house than a factory. Each project starts with an in-person consultation, and every detail (from paint and leather to frame finishes and billet parts) is created to suit the owner’s taste.

The scheme is split into three levels. Essenziale (Essential) offers custom colours, graphics and materials, ideal for riders who want something distinct without straying far from the production base. Ricercato (Wanted) adds bespoke finishes to technical components such as the frame, swingarm and triple clamp, along with the option of special wheels. Iconico (I don’t really need to translate this, do I?) sits at the top, removing virtually all limits. Customers can commission unique parts, high-performance components, and even matching helmets and paddock stands, turning their MV into a one-off piece of “Motorcycle Art.”

MV Agusta says each build is assessed individually to ensure it’s both technically and legally viable. Every Sartoria Meccanica bike will come with a certificate of authenticity and a numbered plaque identifying it as a true one-of-one.
CEO Luca Martin says the idea is about making every MV feel personal. “Sartoria Meccanica reflects our commitment to delivering not just exceptional motorcycles, but truly unique experiences tailored to each individual’s passion and vision,” he said.

As you’d expect, the workmanship involves the best Italy can offer: hand-stitched saddles, CNC-machined components, and precision-laid carbon fibre. And as a bonus, all bikes remain covered by MV’s standard five-year factory warranty.
For those who think standard MVs aren’t special enough, Sartoria Meccanica might just be for you. Think of it as a nice way to make an MV Agusta really, really, expensive!
