MCL26 Show and Shine puts visitors’ bikes in the spotlight
The new Show and Shine feature will debut at MCL26, giving visitors the chance to show off their wheels, with one bike going on to be crowned MCL Best in Show Trophy.

A new feature will debut at MCL26, with Show and Shine, sponsored by BikeSure, putting the public’s bikes at the centre of the show.
To help whittle down the numbers, entries are now open, with the show’s organisers are looking to find the ten best bikes to take part in the event. Taking centre stage in Hall 4, the bikes will then remain on display for the duration of the show. Owners whose bikes are chosen to appear will receive MCL26 show tickets and the thrill of having the eyes of 100,000 visitors locked on their personal bike. Throughout the nine-day event, visitors will also be able to vote for their favourite entry, with the winning bike taking home the inaugural Motorcycle Live Best in Show Trophy.

And the search for those ten bikes is already underway, with a dedicated webpage on the MCL website ready and waiting to accept entrants. All you have to do is fill in your personal details, tell the organisers about yourself, your bike and any modifications, and then upload some images of it to show why it should take part. The only other thing to note is that entrants selected will have to transport the bike to and from the NEC themselves and at their own cost.
For a chance to have your bike named as MCL Best in Show, it’s actually quite a small price to pay.

MCL26 takes place at Birmingham's NEC from November 21 to 29, 2026, bringing together the biggest names in motorcycling for nine days of new bike launches, live entertainment, test rides, shopping and interactive features. Whether you're there to check out the latest machinery or simply soak up the atmosphere, Show and Shine adds another reason to spend time in Hall 4 and see some of the best privately owned motorcycles in the country up close.
If you want to get your bike in the spotlight at this year’s MCL, head over to the official website and submit your entry.
