WITH an all-new SX 85cc and some nice upgrades for the rest of the models, the new line of KTM motocross bikes is looking as mean and competitive as ever for 2018.
Over all improvements to the motocross range see revised suspension settings on the WP forks and shock across all models. A new orange frame and some fresh graphics help make the standard KTM 450 SX-F and 250 SX-F machines look that little bit more factory right out of the crate.
The biggest changes for 2018 have been made to the KTM 85 SX, which has pretty much been fully rebuilt with a new engine, frame, sub-frame and more, meaning the already class-leading kids' bike just got a whole lot better. The 85 SX is also fitted with high-quality Formula brakes, WP AER 43 forks and a specifically developed WP Xplor progressive damping system (PDS) shock absorber, which provides excellent sensitivity and outstanding bottoming resistance with full adjustability.
Upgrades and spec for the 2018 KTM's include the following:
KTM 450 SX-F (main image) and 250 SX-F (above):
Both still come with the E-starter, WP suspension, traction control and map selection, and much more as standard.

New aluminum head-stays, as well as a new CDI control unit for improved starting behaviours.

A new engine that is 0.69 kg lighter than the previous model, with improved power and rideability throughout the complete RPM range.
A lighter chassis with a revised chromium molybdenum steel frame as crafted by WP Performance Systems.
