Isle of Man TT pushes women to the forefront in 2026
The Isle of Man TT has announced a collaboration with Women Riders World Relay for its 2026 Legacy Lap.

The Isle of Man TT will include the Women Riders World Relay as part of its Legacy Lap in 2026.
The Women Riders World Relay is a “global movement created to connect women riders around the world,” the Isle of Man TT says. It began in 2019 and has connected over 20,000 women from over 100 countries. WRWR says its goal is “to connect every woman rider in the world”.
The speed-controlled Legacy Lap will take place on 31 May at this year’s edition of the TT road races. Riders will gather in the pit lane at the TT Grandstand at 08:30 before setting off at 09:30.

The lap will be delivered as part of the Women Riders World Relay (WRWR) for the first time in 2026 in a move which promotes women’s motorcycling on one of motorcycle racing’s most famous and recognisable stages. This collaboration will see the lap led off by women riders.
“Women Riders World Relay is incredibly proud to lead the 2026 TT Legacy Lap and to see women riders at the front of such an iconic event,” said Lisa, a WRWR Isle of Man Ambassador.
“The TT has always been about passion, community and respect for the Mountain Course, and this year’s Legacy Lap is a chance to celebrate all of those things together.
“Seeing women at the front of the convoy sends a powerful message that motorcycling is for everyone and reflects WRWR’s mission to connect women riders around the world, inspire them to be the best they can be, and challenge perceptions of what women riders can achieve.
“We are honoured to help lead this special moment on the Isle of Man.”
The 2026 Isle of Man TT is due to begin on 25 May and run through to 6 June with the event-closing Senior TT.
