Honda to reveal 2026 MotoGP bike in February
The Honda HRC Castrol team has revealed when it will unveil its 2026 MotoGP bike.

Honda’s factory MotoGP team is currently set to become the last outfit to reveal its 2026 bike on February 2.
The RC213V, which has won more MotoGP championships than any other bike since being named ‘RC213V’ in 2012, will also enter its final season in its current guise. That’s because in 2027 MotoGP’s lengthy set of regulation changes means engines will be reduced from 1,000cc to 850cc.
The Honda HRC Castrol team will reveal its 2026 bike as part of an official launch with riders Joan Mir and Luca Marini. It will take place one day after the LCR Honda team unveils its 2026 challenger, which will be piloted by Johann Zarco and Diogo Moreira.
While small changes could take place with regards to the paint scheme, it’s unlikely to match anything we saw ahead of the 2025 campaign, when Honda debuted its all-new Castrol-infused livery. The British oil company became the team’s title sponsor in 2025, after Honda and Repsol ended their historic 30-year partnership.
Following a difficult few years where top ten finishes were hard to come by, let alone a podium or more, Honda re-found its mojo in 2025 as both Mir and Marini flashed considerable potential, which in-turn led to some very impressive results.

Mir claimed a pair of podium finishes in Japan and Malaysia towards the end of the season, while Marini was a regular top eight finisher in the second half of the year. Honda also clinched an unlikely victory, when Zarco took a brilliant flag-to-flag win in front of his passionate home crowd at the French Grand Prix, in Le Mans.
We’ll have to wait a full month before we can see Honda’s 2026 factory MotoGP bike. However, fans of the sport won’t have to wait as long to see Valentino Rossi’s VR46 team reveal its Ducati machines on January 14 in Rome.
That will take place one day after the Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha team, and its new rider Toprak Razgatlioglu will unveil the M1 at the Accademia Musicale Della Chigiana, in Siena, Italy.
