Havier Beltran leaves Honda with immediate effect
Visordown has learned that Honda Racing UK has parted ways with long-time employee Havier Beltran.

Honda Racing UK boss Havier Beltran has been released by the company with ‘immediate effect’.
It’s not yet been revealed to us at Visordown why Beltran has been removed from his position as team manager of Honda Racing UK.
However, a statement from Honda to Visordown, said:
“A Honda spokesperson has confirmed that Havier Beltran has left Honda employment with immediate effect. All operational questions should be referred to Neil Fletcher, the Head of Racing Department in HME.”
Beltran, who began his association with Honda in the early 1990s, has been a key figure in the company’s racing department in the British Superbike Championship, and on the roads for many years.
Beltran oversaw Honda’s return to winning ways with Dean Harrison at the 2025 Isle of Man TT, which was the team’s first win in ten years at the famous course.
Speaking in the summer about the team’s triumph at the TT, Beltran said:
“It’s an amazing feeling. It’s been hard for everybody, a tough few weeks. We’ve all been through the weather conditions. It has been 10 years since the team who won here before. We still push, we still want to win, we still believe in the riders that we work with.”
Beltran also led the team into the most recent BSB round at Donington Park, which took place on the 5 September to the 7. It’s unclear if the decision to move forward without Beltran is related to racing, or if there are other reasons that have caused both sides to part ways.
The return to winning ways at the Isle of Man TT has not extended itself to BSB, as Tommy Bridewell, who finished second in 2024, is currently seventh in the championships standings. Honda has just one victory in BSB so far in 2025.
A replacement for Beltran has also not been confirmed at the time of this writing, but we will share that information as soon as it becomes available.
