LS2 reveals new Move Ahead luggage range

Spanish helmet maker LS2 has entered the motorcycle luggage space, revealing a budget-friendly alternative to hard panniers designed to fit everything from nakeds to long-distance tourers.

Included in the new Move Ahead luggage set are soft panniers, a tail bag, and a roll bag, all of which claim to be waterproof. 

The flagship Move Ahead Panniers set offers 40 litres of storage (20 litres per side), and arrives with an RRP of £149,99 (including VAT). They are designed for long-distance trips, and are built using 500D tarpaulin with robust PVC coatings inside and out. 

Welded seams and roll-top closures add further layers of practicality to the panniers, helping them remain dry even during sustained periods of wet weather, according to a press release from LS2. Reinforcements in key areas have also been made to make sure the bags “hold their shape and stand up to long-term use”.

The three sets can be purchased individually, with the Move Ahead Tail Bag priced at £69,99. On the other hand, LS2’s new roll bag will cost customers just £19,99.

The tail bag comes with a 10-litre storage capacity, but its biggest selling point is perhaps its versatility. It can be used as a tail bag that’s either mounted to panniers or luggage racks, or quickly converted into a tank bag or backpack. 

Like the new panniers, it’s said to use a welded construction and durable materials to deliver IPX5 waterproofing. The roll bag offers three litres of storage and can be attached to panniers, racks, handlebars and frames, or used as an inner bag inside larger luggage.
