TRIUMPH Motorcycles begin Lockdown Heroes campaign, to thank those that have gone above and beyond the call of duty during the COVID-19 lockdown.

The public is being asked to nominate their own lockdown heroes, with ten lucky nominees being selected by a panel of judges, each of them receiving a gift box in recognition of their efforts.

Former England rugby international and Triumph Motorcycles’ ambassador David Flatman got the ball rolling after delivering a gift box to his NHS worker and friend Charlotte Chylewski’s front door. Charlotte was chosen by Flatman as his lockdown hero for her selfless hard work and determination during the peak of the virus. She provided an incredible service to the community, while supporting her young child.

Speaking after making his delivery, Flatman said:

“Charlotte is one of our incredible NHS workers putting her health on the line to help save others. There’s no gift in the world that can really acknowledge the sacrifice she, and many other NHS workers are making on a daily basis, but if turning up on her door and surprising her with a prize can help put a smile on her face for even a moment then it’s worth it.”

Nominations will open today until Monday 8th June 2020. Fans can leave their nomination on Triumph UK’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages by explaining why their local hero should receive the gift box.

Triumph’s panel of judges will select ten worthy recipients from the fans’ entries and a gift box will be delivered by the nominee or local dealer to each unsung hero. The gift will include a special #TriumphTogether award, a voucher for the Triumph Factory Experience (once the centre reopens), and a Great British Tea Hamper.
