The second edition of Scottish Ducati Week has been announced by the Ducati Manchester Group, and will include an appearance from four-time World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty.

The 2023 Scottish Ducati Week will take place on the weekend of 14-16 July, beginning with an exclusive event of Ducati Official Club GB at Ducati Dundee on 14 July, which will allow members the opportunity to try the MotoGP MotoTrainer track simulator.

Ducati Dundee is a new dealer launched by the Ducati Manchester Group, becoming the group’s second dealer in Scotland, after Ducati Glasgow.

The Dundee dealer will open on the second day of Scottish Ducati Week, 15 July, in the presence of Ducati UK Managing Director, Fabrizio CazzoliFabrizio Cazzoli, who said: “Ducati UK is delighted to see the expansion of Ducati in Scotland as this is an important market for us. To be able to announce the event which is being organised by our newest dealer Ducati Dundee is exciting.

“I will be there for the event and I am looking forward to seeing Ducati Dundee’s new store and also being able to meet and talk to our Scottish customers.”

Chris Booth, owner of Ducati Manchester Group, said: “Since acquiring Ducati Glasgow in 2021, it was apparent Scotland required a second store to serve the East of Scotland and provide the ability to supply further outstanding customer service and care we pride ourselves on.

“We quickly decided to invest in a second store and share our passion for Ducati to a wider audience in Scotland to make Ducati more accessible. I’m extremely proud of the team in Scotland for creating such a fantastic store.”

The third and final day of the event, 16 July, will take it to the Knockhill Circuit, home of the British Superbike Championship’s only round outside of England. There, demo rides of Ducati’s entire 2023 range, including its e-mountain bikes, will be possible. Additionally, ex-Isle of Man TT and North West 200 racer Ian Simpson; ex-World Supersport rider Iain MacPherson, and current Oxford Products Racing Ducati British Superbike racer Christian Iddon will lead on-track riding sessions in both the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions of the Knockhill track.

On the evening of 16 July, there will be an event with Carl Fogarty at Carlowrie Castle, including food, entertainment, and a Q&A session with the WorldSBK legend.
