Fantic reveals new motocross range as reports suggest financial troubles
Fantic reveals its 2026 motocross range, with a new Akrapovic exhaust system added alongside engine updates.

Fantic has revealed its new 2026 motocross line-up with bikes set to arrive in dealerships midway through September, while prices will be revealed at the end of August. The news comes amid reports from multiple outlets that the Italian marque is in financial difficulty.
Fantic says its new range is the most “complete and advanced” to date. The said range includes four new models, which are the XX125 2T, XX250 2T, XXF250 4T, XXF450 4T, all of which are developed through its experience racing in MXGP and EMX European Championship.

The new four-stroke models receive a titanium Akrapovic exhaust as standard, while the XXF250 gets a reversed cylinder head with a front-facing intake and a rearward-tilted cylinder.
The XXF450 also benefits from an engine update as its single-cylinder power unit, which again comes from manufacturing partner, Yamaha, welcomes the addition of new intake ports.
Both models get full KYB suspension front and back, while the Brembo hydraulic braking system also comes as standard.

The new four-stroke machines will land in dealers sometime in November, however, the two-stroke line-up will be available as early as the middle of September.
Fantic’s new two-stroke models receive a fresh look for 2026, and like the four-stroke models, they also benefit from KYB suspension. The system is fully adjustable and both machines feature 310mm of travel at the front, and 315mm at the rear.
Additionally, Fantic has also revealed a new five-strong enduro line-up that is fully homologated to meet Euro5+ standards. The new enduro range includes the XE125, XE300, XEF250, XEF310, and XEF450 models.
While the new models might create some buzz among off-road riders, reports in Europe are suggesting the company is in financial trouble. It’s being reported that the company is in debt by more than €130 million.
