The standout feature on India’s ‘most futuristic’ 125 motorcycle
The Hero Glamour 125 is reported to be landing in the Indian market with cruise control, which is apparently a very big deal.

Motorcycle technology is evolving at ever-increasing speeds. Twenty-five years ago, an IMU was but a pipe dream, and now we have systems that use GPS and can be mapped for specific corners of a track.
Indeed, with MotoGP bikes seeming to be the entry point for future road bike technology, it's hard not to imagine a top-spec sports bike in years to come with a race bike-inspired holeshot device. But not all technology is created equal. And sometimes, where a particular piece of tech is landing can make all the difference.

Take the Hero Glamour 125, for instance, a bike being touted by its makers as being India’s ‘most futuristic’. It’s reported to be officially landing later this month, and one of the standout features that makes it so advanced is cruise control.
No adaptive cruise control, just normal, but after doing some digging, that is kind of a big deal. We’ve had a trawl through the main protagonists and 125s with cruise control as standard do seem to be a little rarer than we thought. Other tech elements landing on the bike seem to be a Bluetooth-connected LCD dash, LED lights, while power comes from a 10.9bhp single-cylinder engine.
We’ll be keeping them peeled to see if the bike does hit the mark when it's announced later this month. And with Hero making an entrance into the UK market in the coming months, it’s interesting to see what developments the Indian brand has in the pipeline.
