Ducati has confirmed the entry price and models that can be used for its all-new V2 Future Champ Academy program, which is being spearheaded by its official MotoGP test rider Michele Pirro.

The new V2 Ducati program, which is aimed at getting young riders into racing through a multidisciplinary program, is part of Pirro’s Garage51 platform. And as part of the new racing series, riders will take part in a total of seven race weekends and five additional tests.

Riders will also get to learn about communication with sponsors, teams and organisations as part of the program.

Now, in order to take part in the series, riders will need to cough up €49,500 + VAT (roughly £43,150). That price is divided into seven instalments of €7,071 (around £6,230) with each payment to be paid in advance of each event.

The registration fee includes entry for races and official tests, technical help provided by Ducati Academy staff, and spare parts service. It also gives you access to a reserved space within the Ducati Academy Village and things like fuel, tyres, brake pads, engine oil, clutches “in a defined quantity”, says Ducati.

On top of the registration fee, interested competitors will also need to buy a 2025 or later Ducati Panigale V2 S. By doing so, a 15 per cent discount will be applied to the list price. Ducati also says “the bike will be fitted with the official preparation kit, supplied by Garage 51 Misano, at a cost of €10,000.00 + VAT”. That’s around £8,800.

The preparation kit includes suspension set-up, with spring adjustment based on the rider's weight and skill level, a racing exhaust system, and adjustable racing footpegs and handlebars.

Additionally, riders will get a racing fuel tank cap, CNC-machined triple clamp and levers ABS elimination kit, a final gearing kit (two front and two rear sprockets), and a racing fairing kit painted with official team graphics, complete with identification stickers.

Optional management of your Panigale V2 S is also available, but that is valued at a price of €7,500 (or £6,600). If riders opt for that package they will receive a pair of wheels complete with brake discs for mounting rain tyres, front and rear stands, tyre warmers, a rack trolley with an integrated generator to power the tyre warmers, and supporting hardware.

The seven-round calendar includes races at some of the most legendary tracks across Europe, with Misano hosting round one from the 24 to 26 of April at Misano.

Round 2 then heads to Mugello on 8-10 May, before riders move on to Barcelona for round three on 22-24 May. Round four is scheduled to run alongside the WorldSBK championship at Misano on 12-14 June. Misano is again the destination for round five (3-5 July) and six (24-26 July), before Cremona hosts the final event of the program on 17-19 September.

Ducati says the prize money total for the 2026 V2 Future Champ Academy winner is currently being finalised.
