Buell partners with Simpson to create forged carbon Mod Bandit helmet
Buell Motorcycles has partnered with Simpson to create a new forged carbon helmet, which is already available for pre-order.

Buell Motorcycles has confirmed a new partnership with helmet maker Simpson, which has led to the drop of this all-new Mod Bandit lid.
Buell Motorcycles made waves in the UK when it confirmed its return to British shores earlier this year. As part of its return, various motorcycles have landed in the UK already, while new models will continue to arrive in the future including the new Super Cruiser and Super Touring bikes.
Buell Motorcycles has now collaborated with fellow American brand, Simpson, to create a new helmet that can be pre-ordered right now.

The lid, which is available on the official Simpson website, comes with a price of $799 (around £588) and it features a fully blacked-out forged carbon theme, as well as Buell branding on the sides.
The new Mod Bandit is a modular helmet that can be paired with most communication systems, according to Simpson. It also comprises a double d-ring fastening system and metal chin bar locking components for improved strength and durability.

The helmet is both DOT and ECE certified, and is available in Tri-Composite or Carbon Fibre construction. Additionally, the inside liner is fully removable and washable.
The helmet is a special edition lid that has been restricted to just 850 units. More information can be found on the Simpson website.
