Ducati to enter Arenacross British Championship in 2027
Ducati will make its Arenacross British Championship debut in 2027 with a UK-backed team using the Desmo450 MX Factory across six rounds.

Ducati will enter the Arenacross British Championship for the first time in 2027, with an official Ducati UK-backed team set to compete across all six rounds of the indoor MX series.
The Italian manufacturer will field its Desmo450 MX Factory motocross bike, marking another step in its expansion into off-road racing. Ducati first displayed its motocross machinery at Arenacross in Birmingham in 2026, but the 2027 campaign will see the red bikes move from the display plinth to the start gate.
The new operation will be established and managed by Anthony Revell, founder of action sports brand Stolen Brand, who will serve as team principal. Revell has been involved in action sports for several years and says he has wanted to run an Arenacross team for some time.
Ducati UK says the programme will provide an opportunity to develop its motocross presence in Britain, gain experience in indoor competition and connect with the country's off-road racing community.

Ryan Gregory, Ducati North Europe's marketing, communications and PR director, said:
"Entering the Arenacross British Championship with a Ducati UK-backed team is an exciting next step in developing our motocross presence.
"Arenacross combines competitive racing with an atmosphere that brings fans close to the action. We’re looking forward to working with Anthony and Stolen Brand to introduce the Desmo450 MX Factory to this demanding racing environment.
"We know we’ll face experienced teams and riders, and we respect that challenge. This programme gives us an opportunity to build experience, connect with the British off-road community and bring more fans into Ducati’s motocross journey."
Arenacross promoter Matt Bates said Ducati's arrival was a significant addition to the championship, which combines indoor racing with a live entertainment format. He also highlighted the role of the accompanying Dirt Bike Live Show in giving manufacturers access to fans and providing a platform ahead of the outdoor season.
The team has yet to announce its rider line-up, with further details expected in due course.
The 2027 Arenacross British Championship will feature six rounds across three cities, with a £150,000 championship prize fund.
The series begins at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on 6 and 7 February, moves to the O2 Arena in Belfast on 12 and 13 February, and concludes at P&J LIVE in Aberdeen on 26 and 27 February.
