BSA Bantam 350 tops modern classic sales charts
BSA’s Bantam 350 has topped the modern classic sales charts in the UK for the second consecutive month.

After being unveiled in July this year, the new BSA Bantam 350 has seemingly become a favourite among many British riders already.
Soon to be joined by the new Thunderbolt adventure bike in the brand’s 350cc range, the Bantam 350 was sold in a total of 79 units across the month of November. Those statistics come directly from the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA), but it’s not the first time that the Bantam 350 has topped the modern classic sales charts.

The new model already became the best-selling modern classic in October, with a total of 87 units sold.
In doing so it took over from the Triumph Speed 400, which had also been at the top of the sales charts for back-to-back months in August and September.
The Bantam 350 is powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine that produces 29 hp (or 28.6bhp) at 7,750 rpm, and 21.8 Ib-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.

When it comes to stopping power a 320mm single disc is found up front, with a 240mm disc at the rear. The brakes are from Bybre, which is Brembo’s subsidiary aimed at smaller-capacity machines.
The Bantam 350 is also cheaper than both the Honda GB350S and Royal Enfield’s HNTR 350, with a UK price of £3,499. That’s £400 less than the HNTR 350 and £500 cheaper than the GB350S.

Some other standouts from the data provided by the MCIA, includes BMW’s R1300 GS which took over top spot in the Adventure category from the Voge DS800X.
Staying with BMW, the German company’s R1300 RT remained the top-selling Tourer, after taking over from Honda’s NT1100 in October.
