Aprilia Tuareg Bags Podium Hat Trick in Hellas Rally Raid
The twin-cylinder Tuareg 660 storms to an outright win in Greece as Cerutti leads clean sweep in the M5 class

Aprilia’s off-road ambitions just got a big boost, as the Noale-based brand’s Tuareg 660 powered its way to a historic overall victory at the 2025 Hellas Rally Raid.
In the hands of Jacopo Cerutti, the Tuareg didn’t just dominate the M5 class, it beat everything, including the usual rally-race single-cylinder suspects, to take the top step on the overall podium.
Cerutti, who is quickly cementing his status as a giant in rally raid, was untouchable over the course of seven punishing stages, well, six actually, after one was canned thanks to some dodgy Greek weather. The Italian didn’t just win his class, he won every M5 stage outright, and sealed overall victory for the second year running. Not bad for a lightly modified twin-cylinder adventure bike.

Backing up the result and proving it wasn’t just a one-man show, teammates Marco Menichini and Francesco Montanari made it a clean sweep of the M5 podium for Aprilia, finishing second and third in class, and third and fifth overall respectively. Menichini’s rally was defined by consistency and smart riding in grim conditions. Fog, freezing temperatures, and rocky climbs didn’t stop him from racking up five M5 podiums and locking in P2 in class and a strong third overall.

Montanari, meanwhile, shrugged off a minor issue on day one to claw his way back into contention. With five class podiums and some tight navigation, he brought it home in third for the M5 class and fifth overall.
This marks the second year running the Tuareg has topped the M5 class at Hellas, and with Aprilia riders occupying all three class podium spots and two of the top five overall positions, there’s no doubt: the Tuareg Rally is the real deal. It’s fast, reliable, and clearly capable of punching well above its weight.

Jacopo Cerutti summed up the result by saying:
“It was seven fantastic days of racing. Tough stages, tricky weather, but everything clicked with the bike. I’m super happy—we had fun and got the result. Now it’s back to Italy to get ready for the Motorally.”
Marco Menichini echoed the sentiment:
“The weather was brutal at times—cold, foggy—but I kept my pace and brought it home. Massive thanks to the team, now we shift focus to the Italian Championship.”
Francesco Montanari added:
“Apart from a hiccup on day one, the bike ran flawlessly. Navigation was smooth, and I gave it everything. Really proud of this result and the effort from everyone on the team.”
