I’ve been wearing this AGV GPTech every day for 12 months now and it has been exposed to some pretty tough weather conditions.
The padding is still firm and comfortable and overall it’s a very smooth and quiet helmet to wear. The transparent visor attachment mechanism is easy to work, making it a cinch to change visors quickly.
The ratchet system also makes it easy to leave the visor open just enough to stop it misting up when it’s really, really cold.
In terms of finish mine has started to lose some of its lacquer recently mainly due to stone chips but it still looks fresh. I love the sun graphics and the colours look just as bright as the first day I wore it. Some would argue this is a downside, but I love it.
Over all the GPTech is a brilliant model in AGV’s latest wave of full face helmets and if it’s good enough for The Doctor it’s good enough for us mere mortals.
