THE 2014 Aegis is the most technologically advanced back protector in the Knox range. It meets Level 2 Standard, the highest rating of the CE approved back-protectors.
It's also been tested and approved to Level 2 at the optional high (+40°C) and low (-20°C) temperatures, demonstrating it’s protection levels in both hot and cold climates.
The new model includes a new inner layer of ‘EVA’ foam incorporated beneath the honeycomb plates, Knox say this provides extra spinal protection.
Also new for 2014 is the addition of a breathable spacer fabric liner which is said to assist airflow to keep the rider cool, and can be removed and machine washed.
The £99.99 Aegis is available in seven sizes and has a multi-position waist strap and shoulder strap system.
